Privacy Policy

How DeployBrief.ai collects, uses, shares and protects personal information.

1. Who we are

DeployBrief.ai is a UK-based online advertising service operating under the DeployBrief name (“DeployBrief”, “we”, “us” or “our”). DeployBrief is the controller of personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at ian@deploybrief.ai.

2. Information we collect

We may collect:

  • your name, business email, company name and contact details;
  • company-profile information, including descriptions, websites, social links, categories, logos and tile backgrounds;
  • purchase information, such as tier, founding number, GBP price, terms acceptance, payment and refund status and Stripe transaction identifiers (we do not store full payment-card details);
  • messages, invitation decisions, acquisition source, private outreach notes, correction requests and support correspondence;
  • technical and security information, including IP address, browser or device information, timestamps and server logs;
  • with your consent, analytics information such as pages viewed, interactions, referring sites, approximate location, browser and device; and
  • for authorised administrators, identity information supplied through the sign-in service.

3. How we use information

We use personal data to provide and publish placements, process payments, communicate about purchases, manage corrections, moderate content, operate and secure the site, prevent fraud, maintain records, enforce our terms and comply with law.

Company owners can request a single-use sign-in link at their purchase email address. Resend delivers these transactional emails. Links expire after 15 minutes. We store hashes of sign-in and session credentials, not the credentials themselves. Company sessions expire after 30 days; sign-out revokes the current session. Hashed email and network identifiers help limit repeated sign-in requests.

4. Our lawful bases

Depending on the activity, we rely on performance of a contract or steps requested before a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the marketplace, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where the law requires it. Google Analytics is used only with your consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time through “Cookie notice” in the footer.

5. Public profile information

Information submitted for a company placement is intended for public display. Company names, logos, descriptions, categories, links, tile backgrounds and placement details may therefore be viewed, indexed, linked to and shared by others. Contact email, private completion links and internal outreach notes are not included in public profiles. Do not submit personal data that you do not want made public.

6. Who receives information

We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure and operate the site; Google for consented analytics; Stripe for checkout and payment processing; Resend for transactional purchase and completion emails; professional advisers; and regulators, courts or authorities where required. We do not sell personal data.

7. International transfers

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, we use or rely on recognised safeguards, adequacy regulations or another lawful transfer mechanism.

8. Retention

Public listing information is normally retained for the operational life of the original map unless removed under our terms or required by law. Transaction and tax records are normally retained for up to seven years. Other records are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for their purpose, security, disputes or legal obligations.

9. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your personal data, object to processing, receive portable data, and withdraw consent. These rights are not absolute, particularly where information forms part of a business transaction or public company listing.

Email requests to ian@deploybrief.ai. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

10. Security and children

We use proportionate organisational and technical safeguards, but no internet service is completely secure. DeployBrief.ai is a business marketplace and is not directed at children.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as the service or law changes. The date above shows the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted where reasonably practical.
