Terms of Use and Sale

The rules for using DeployBrief.ai and purchasing a company placement.

1. These terms

DeployBrief.ai is a UK-based online advertising service operating under the DeployBrief name (“DeployBrief”, “we”, “us” or “our”). These terms form an agreement between DeployBrief and the person or organisation using the service. By using the site or buying a placement, you agree to them.

2. Business customers only

Placements are offered only to businesses and people acting wholly or mainly for business purposes. By purchasing, you confirm that you are not acting as a consumer, you are at least 18, and you have authority to bind the named business.

3. The service

DeployBrief.ai is a growing collection of AI and technology companies. A profile purchase provides the agreed profile format and a place in Discover, subject to review and these terms. The collection has no membership cap. Advertising is optional and purchased separately.

“Permanent” means that an accepted placement is intended to remain for the operational life of DeployBrief.ai. It does not promise that the website, domain, hosting provider, technology or business will operate forever. We may maintain, redesign, migrate, archive or replace technical systems while preserving the placement’s substance where reasonably practical.

4. Profile formats, appearance and position

Current one-time profile prices are Portrait £35, Feature £65, Landmark £99 and Icon £199. All prices and payments are in GBP. The full total is shown before payment. Historical purchases retain the price and purchase record agreed when ordered.

Each profile format defines relative presentation and scope within the collection; it does not promise a fixed number of physical screen pixels at every browser size. Responsive scaling, zooming and layout changes may be used to make the map work across devices. We determine initial position and may move placements to manage the map, resolve overlap, improve usability or meet legal and technical needs. We do not guarantee a particular adjacency, ranking, traffic level, number of clicks, sales result or uninterrupted availability.

5. Ordering and payment

Your submission is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed when payment is accepted and we approve the placement. Payment is processed by Stripe and may be subject to Stripe’s terms. Payments are verified on the server before a purchase is fulfilled. New profile purchases do not receive a limited founding number. Existing historical founding numbers are retained and not reassigned. Test transactions do not create live purchases. If a submission is rejected before publication, the applicable payment will be refunded.

Invitations and advertising

Complimentary invited participants are clearly labelled and are separate from paid purchases. Proposed profiles remain private until accepted and approved. Invitations do not imply a payment, endorsement or commercial relationship. Public progress shows verified GBP payments less refunds and lost disputes, before payment-processing fees; it excludes invitations and test transactions.

Profile purchases and optional advertising support DeployBrief. A purchase is not an investment and provides no equity, ownership interest, investment rights or financial return. We promise no audience size, impressions, traffic or sales results.

6. Your content and licence

You keep ownership of your company content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence for DeployBrief’s operational life to host, store, reproduce, resize, crop, adapt for responsive display, publish and promote that content in connection with DeployBrief.ai and its historical record.

You promise that your submission is accurate, lawful, not misleading, and that you have all rights and permissions needed. It must comply with our Content and Listing Policy.

7. Review, correction and removal

We may request evidence, reject, suspend, edit for formatting, unpublish or remove content that breaches these terms, creates legal or security risk, infringes rights, harms users or the map, or is associated with fraudulent or unlawful activity. Our Refunds and Corrections Policy explains when corrections or refunds may be available.

8. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, scrape it in a way that degrades service, introduce malware, evade payment or inventory controls, impersonate another person or business, or use the map for unlawful purposes.

9. Intellectual property

Except for customer content and third-party marks, the site, design, compilation, software, text and brand are owned by or licensed to DeployBrief. No rights are granted except those needed to use the service under these terms.

10. Availability and liability

We will use reasonable care in operating the site, but it is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties not stated here and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, data or opportunity.

Our total aggregate liability arising from a placement is limited to the amount paid for that placement. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. General

We may update these terms prospectively and will not materially reduce an accepted placement without a valid reason under these terms. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues. Delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer a placement without written approval; we may transfer this agreement as part of a sale or reorganisation of the service, provided your rights are not materially reduced.

These terms and any non-contractual dispute are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions may be emailed to ian@deploybrief.ai.

12. Optional advertising

An approved profile is required. Promotion starts at £10 for the remaining time in a shared seven-day period. Additional payments add only the difference to a chosen total; they do not extend the period. Paid spend determines overall rank and rank in every category selected for the company, with earlier verified payments reaching an equal total winning ties. Rank may fall as other companies spend more. Promotion totals stay private.

Spotlight auctions offer three fixed homepage positions for a displayed 24-hour campaign. Bids authorise a card. The top three eligible authorised bids win, with earlier authorisations winning ties. Winners pay their full bid; losing holds are released. There is no automatic renewal. Campaign and auction UTC dates are displayed before authorisation. Bids and company names are public. See the advertising rules for mechanics and the refund policy for delivery problems.
